I hate spending money on the basics. Yeah, I know that electricity and socks are needed for everyday life,  but it always feels like my paycheck just evaporates and there is nothing to show for it. 

Well today, I bought a necessity that I was extremely excited about. 

Because today, I needed a new belt. 

If you check the wear pattern, you can see I was barely at the first hole for the longest time. Today, I had it tightened to the last hole. I’ll get into mentally dealing with plateaus later, but I finally broke through one and seeing this made it all worth while.
